I realize that from a distance, it may be difficult to know what I value and know to be true. I’d like to clear that up right now:
- Freedom is more noble than safety.
- Polarity is a principle of life. Beauty arises from differences: Male & Female. Foriegn & Familiar. Black & White. B&W photography is a sacramental exercise in honoring opposites.
- That which continues to provoke you, is that which you are afraid to fully feel.
- Family is the fundamental building block of society. Failed homes lead to failed individuals, and failed individuals are the building blocks of failed societies.
- Free Speech is sacred. Words are the seeds of creative power. We think in words. Speech control is mind control. Censorship is a primal affront to personal freedom and must be fought.
- The Divine will commune with the individual. No intermediaries needed.
- Every act of creativity ennobles the soul.
- Everyone loves legs
- In any given situation, there are multiple versions of reality occurring. Both are “true”, both are “false”.
- Two wheels > four wheels. Motorcycling contains the secrets of life.
- Music is a universal language; it has a unique ability to bridge divides.
- Personal defense is a human right
- You own your body. Nobody can force you do do anything with it.
- Curiosity > Correctness
- It is encoded in our DNA to care what the tribe thinks of us. Personal power emerges when we learn to live in the tribe, but not of the tribe.
- The freedom to explore one’s consciousness, according to the dictates of one’s own conscience, is sacred and must never be interfered with.
- Rush is the greatest band in the history of greatness.
